Training for Chi Town
Today is day three of training for the Chicago Marathon. My friend Sarah and I have decided to run it together on 10/10/10. I have run Newport, Disney and Boston- but Chicago and New York are next on my list. I am really excited to get back into training after knee surgery. I tore my knee training for Boston, and am happy to be back on a training schedule. Today was a six miler- which used to be a piece of cake, not so much after 6 beers at the Joshua Tree and some Sangria last night J But what fun would the training be without the rewards. I meet up with some friends there and meet some new friends, I am not into hugging, so when one guy went in for a kiss as the common hand shake I knew these kids were my style. Remember; never take like too seriously- you’ll just regret it in the end.

I hope everyone is having a great Wednesday! I know I am. Besides the Celtics losing last night, everything else is a-ok! It has been a great and busy week. My niece turned one earlier (see how little she was just a year ago :) ) this month, my sister turned 27 (that’s really close to 30, she is getting old) and my dad’s birthday is today! I have also started my training for the Chicago Marathon, and got a promotion at work. So things have been busy but great. Check in weekly for more updates on my friends and I- trust me the stuff we get away with needs to be documented!
